Types A) Conventional frame It is also known of non load carrying frame . It has two long side member and two or more cross members, joined together with the help of rivets and bolts. Generally used frame sections are 1) Channel section for good bending resistance 2) Tubular section for good torsion resistance 3) Box section good for both bending and torsion resistance.
